Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for a significant lake project. The project involves reducing the level of a 65-acre site by 30 feet. Operators will work with either traditional tractors and pans or CAT 627 Belly scrapers. The equipment includes brand new tracked Challengers and non-tracked New Holland tractors, possibly pulling a new Ashland pan scraper attachment. The project may also include grading for new building preparation work. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, dozers, and excavators. Perform tasks using a scraper to achieve project goals. Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Contribute to grading activities for new building preparation. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience operating a scraper. Proficiency in handling heavy equipment such as dozers and excavators. The lake project is located to the south/southeast of Lincoln. Operators will work outdoors with modern machinery in an engaging and dynamic environment. Monday-Friday | 7AM- 3:30PM. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Martell, Nebraska. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
