Heavy Equipment Operator (LOCAL) Job Description We are seeking experienced Bulldozer Operators to join our team for mass grading on a new solar farm. This role involves clearing land, building pads, excavating basins, and more. Responsibilities Operate bulldozer, GPS, excavator, and articulated dump truck for mass grading tasks. Clear land and build pads for solar farm construction. Excavate basins and perform other site preparation tasks. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in operating excavator or bulldozer (both preferred). 3+ years of experience using an articulated dump truck. Fine grade ability for dozer/excavator. 3rd party certifications for bulldozer/excavator or articulated haul truck. Safety awareness and knowledge such as OSHA 10 or OSHA 30. Additional Skills & Qualifications Solar experience is a plus. Ability to work significant overtime and weekends. Reliability in attendance and punctuality. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a new construction environment on multiple civil closeout sites. Expect exposure to elements, including very hot and humid conditions. Initially, work 50-hour weeks, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including breaks. Operate equipment on site and collaborate with laborers. Adhere to safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE gear such as hard hats, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, reflective vests, and gloves. Safety is crucial, and repeated offenses may lead to termination. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
