Underground Utility Laborer/Operator

AGAWAM Underground Utility Laborer/Operator Full Time Job Overview Weare seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting variousoperational tasks within our facility, ensuring that all processes runsmoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic,attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment. Duties Operate excavators, loaders, trenchers,jackhammers and any other equipment needed to install undergroundutilities along with hand digging, laying cables and any other laborrequired to complete restoration. Individuals with Class A or B Licenseto not only drive but also take on tole of a laborer/operator (Class Aor B License is not a requirement) Perform routine maintenance checks onequipment to ensure optimal performance. Load and unload materials,ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain a clean andorganized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate withteam members to meet production goals and deadlines. Report anyequipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.Experience Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferredbut not mandatory, we are willing to train motivated candidates.Familiarity with operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is aplus. Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in anindustrial setting is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and theability to work well within a team environment.
