Electrical Superintendent
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Summary:
As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be in charge of field operations for our client's projects, ensuring their safe, timely, and profitable completion. You will plan, organize, and supervise specific construction work areas, manage the scheduling of electrical-related activities, and maintain job progress. Your role will also involve overseeing various project work activities such as raceway, cable tray, electrical panels, ductbank, grounding, switchgear, transformers, low and medium voltage electrical equipment, wiring, motors, heat tracing, instrumentation, and electrical and control testing.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee construction efforts, including safety, productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance.
Ensure subcontractor compliance with electrical construction-related activities.
Build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and A/E representatives.
Collaborate with project management to implement project procedures and standards.
Oversee electrical and instrumentation installation, conduct related tests, and provide oversight for instrument calibration.
Direct and manage subcontractors to comply with the project schedule and track progress.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of construction management experience or craft supervision experience on electrical projects, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and strong leadership skills.
Strong safety background.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Ability to meet our client's driving requirements.
