JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering (Masters preferred)3+ years of geotechnical engineering experience (consulting environment preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 monthsProficiency with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPILE, or equivalentStrong technical writing, communication, and project management skillsValid drivers license and willingness to travel for field workRESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct geotechnical investigations, including field exploration and laboratory testing programsAnalyze soil, rock, groundwater, and geologic data to assess subsurface conditionsPrepare geotechnical reports and engineering recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and pavementsDesign shallow and deep foundation systems, retaining walls, and ground improvement techniquesPerform slope stability, settlement, and bearing capacity analysesCoordinate with civil, structural, and environmental engineering teamsOversee field work and construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical recommendationsCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agenciesSALARY and BENEFITS:Salary range of $80,000-$100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)Health insurance, Group Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Accidental Death and DismembermentHealth Savings AccountSIMPLE IRA PlanPaid Holidays and VacationLOCATION:The position is located at our headquarters in Easton, Maryland.APPLY:Please forward a resume, cover letter, references, and representative project examples to: ....
