Perform as architectural designer on several major Complex Master Planning and Hybrid Facilities, including master plan, office, hotel, retail, residential, interior, to produce design studies and high-quality presentation materials for client and government approvals; Develop, along with the design principal, the design concept, site planning, exterior facade, interior design, material selection, landscape, and lighting concepts for several high-end, complex hybrid facilities projects; Plan complex hybrid facilities of retail, office and hospitality programs within a single complex hybrid facilities building/masterplan; Develop planning layout and vertical transportation strategies for complex hybrid facilities projects mainly infrastructure, complex hybrid facilities office building and commercial podium; Make design recommendations based on functionality, physical requirements, regulatory codes, environmental rules and regulations, safety issues, infrastructure and other design and construction related factors; Strategize overall project vision, project goals, and delivery method at various stages of the project; Apply theoretical as well as practical architecture skills to win visionary large-scale competitions as well as execute them to physical completion; Develop architectural facade systems for hybrid facilities involving curtain wall systems, window wall systems, exposed structural systems and structural skins for mixed-use master plans; Collaborate and manage coordination with consultants from ancillary design disciplines of landscape design, lighting design and interior design in order to hand over a comprehensive building to the client; Collaborate and coordinate architectural design with consultant teams on structure, MEP systems, structural systems, green building strategy, landscape, Lighting and vertical transportation; Liaise with the client on all design and technical related issues, assess their needs, develop strategies to satisfy their objectives, communicate the direction with the project team and aid their marketing strategy; Use Rhino and Grasshopper to perform 3D modeling of complex geometries during the design process to resolve complex conditions occurring in hybrid buildings and mixed used buildings. Apply advanced knowledge of Enscape rendering techniques to articulate experiential design ideas and demonstrate spatial quality for client's understanding; Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software in production of presentations for client meetings, discussion and competition work; Work with material supplier/vendors to ensure technical and design performance; Draft technical drawing sets and other architectural documents through all phases using AutoCad or Revit software; and Communicate direction and strategies to the team and manage its realization.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Architecture, Architectural Design or a closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in Architecture. Experience must include at least 5 years with the following: Conceptualize, create, design, plan and develop new construction projects for Complex Master Planning and Hybrid Facilities through all phases: concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration; Utilizing architectural design, including MEP systems, structural systems, vertical transportation systems, facade and curtain wall design technical details, taking into account code and zoning requirements, environmental regulations, urban constraints and cities requirements for Complex Master Planning and Hybrid Facilities; Preparing presentations through all phases using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; Using enscape for rendering techniques to articulate experiential design ideas and demonstrate spatial quality for client's understanding; Using Rhino, enscape, and Photoshop to perform complex 3D modeling, designing, rendering, and Visualization; Drafting technical drawing sets and other architectural documents through all phases using AutoCad or Revit software; and Utilizing Grasshopper plugin within Rhinoceros 3D to address designs in a computational manner.Salary: $109,491.00/year.
