CAD Technician II - Transmission and Distribution

The OpportunityUlteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician opening. The CAD Technician supports the Transmission and Distribution group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD and designs in PLS-CADD under close supervision.What You'll DoSuccessful candidates will complete tasks within the Transmission and Distribution department designing/drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team. What We Expect from You* Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting, or equivalent work experience* Minimum 3 years of experience* Knowledge of AutoCAD is required* Knowledge of Microstation is required* Knowledge of PLS-CADD a plus, but not required* Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)* Knowledge in Transmission and Distribution design and drafting would be beneficial* Good organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule* Must have permanent authorization to work in USAs you consider applying for a position at Ulteig, we encourage you to think outside the box - because we do!
