We work as an integrated team fluidly supportingcomplex engineering projects across a wide range of industries such asHealthcare, Science and Technology, Commercial Real Estate, MissionCritical, Hospitality, Industrial, Municipal, Sports,Transportation, Federal, and Oil & Gas facilities. We come from manybackgrounds and believe that our combined experiences and expertise make us astronger and more valuable team.Specific duties include:Coordinate the work of electrical engineers with the balance of amultidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentAssume the electrical lead on many projectsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessionsin conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect, and otherdisciplinCoordinate workload through the entire project development to completedocuments on scheduleTrack the financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust the workeffort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within theparameters of the agreed upon scheduleWork with the Project Manager and Regional Controller on project reviews withcorporate management as neededDirect the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and act asa mentor to other staff members as neededConduct QA/QC on the work of other Electrical Engineers, ElectricalCoordinators, or TechniciansProvide client and/or project management on select clients and projects asneededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasisExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED preferred*LI-BC1Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineeringwith an Electrical emphasisA minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings(lighting/power/systems);Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExtensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signaldesign, including life safety systems and building management systemsStrong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electricaldesign softwareAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
