Construction Concrete Laborer

Full-Time / Monday-Friday (some Saturdays)

Position Summary:

A Concrete Laborer performs manual labor tasks to prepare, pour, finish, and cure concrete for construction projects such as sidewalks, roads, foundations, and other structures. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete curb, sidewalks, retaining walls, and other hardscape structures.

Build concrete forms accurately for various concrete applications.

Assist in reinforcing concrete with steel bars or wire mesh (rebar).

Work collaboratively with other construction crew members and supervisors.

Load and unload materials and supplies as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Experience with concrete pumping processes and equipment operations.

Familiarity with hand tools (trowels, floats, screeds) and power tools.

Strong work ethic and a drive to see work completed on time.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed outdoors, often in hot, cold, or wet weather.

Involves lifting heavy materials, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

Exposure to dust, noise, and cement.
