Now Hiring: Construction Superintendent – High-End Façade Project (San Juan, PR)

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Duration: 12–16 months

Contract: Full-time, Project-Based

Pay: $1,200–$1,800/week (DOE) + Housing 

Maucor Inc., a growing national subcontractor specializing in high-end façade and envelope systems, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a 170,000 SF commercial project in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced superintendent ready to run field operations, coordinate multiple trades, and deliver premium-quality work. Career growth is significant, with future opportunities to lead larger projects across the U.S. and Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities:

    •    Manage day-to-day field operations and ensure project milestones are met

    •    Supervise subcontractor crews (both local and mainland)

    •    Maintain strict jobsite safety and enforce quality standards

    •    Report progress to Project Manager and update documentation

    •    Support schedule tracking, logistics, and inspections

Education & Certifications:

    •    High school diploma or GED required

    •    Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred

    •    OSHA 30 (required)

    •    Procore, PlanGrid, or CQM certification a plus

Qualifications:

    •    Minimum 5 years’ experience as a superintendent on commercial/industrial projects

    •    Hands-on knowledge of façade systems (ACM, IMP, fiber cement, HPL)

    •    Bilingual (English/Spanish) or experience working in Puerto Rico is preferred

    •    Strong leadership, subcontractor coordination, and safety management skills
