Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of public construction projects. This role involves assisting with project coordination, documentation, and field support for work at NYC schools and parks. Its an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the construction industry.

Students currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating construction projects from pre-construction to completion.

Help manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to support day-to-day operations.

Organize and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, permits, and logs.

Prepare and edit documents such as change orders, meeting minutes, and reports using Excel and PDF editing tools.

Conduct occasional site visits to track project progress and assist in field coordination.

Collaborate with architects and engineers on design changes and clarifications.

Support procurement efforts and invoice tracking.

Qualifications:
13 years of experience in construction project support or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PDF editing software (e.g., Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat).

Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is welcome.
