The Associate IT Project Manager will assist with compiling project scoping documents, schedules, requirements and other artifacts to support the delivery of cross functional technology projects. Demonstrates basic domain knowledge of the company, including tooling, partners, governance, and frameworks.



Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist in project planning, budgeting, and timeline creation

  • Maintain and organize project documentation accuracy and completeness

  • Coordinate tasks and monitor progress using project management tools

  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders and sponsors

  • Support requirements gathering and refinement

  • Identify project risks and assist in mitigation strategy formation

  • Coordinate diverse project meetings and publish meeting minutes

  • Complete analysis on newly proposed PMO processes to determine validity

  • Provide support to the project teams for issue resolution and guidance

  • Continuously learn and improve IT project management skills

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science (preferred) and/or equivalent work experience

  • Equivalent industry experience of 0-1 year in project management

  • Basic knowledge of project management practices

  • Ability to compile project documents and project plans

  • Ability to leverage soft skills to manage stakeholder relationships

  • Organizational skills including attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities

  • Knowledge of guiding collective groups toward a common goal

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Comfortable working in fast paced environments

  • Eagerness to learn and expand project management skill set

  • Knowledge of productivity tools such as Slack, Google Suite, or Microsoft

Desired Skills:

  • Experience as a project manager or coordinator

  • Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM)

  • General knowledge of IT environments

  • General knowledge of project management tools

The salary range for this position is: $62,799 - $94,199
