POSITION SUMMARY:

Arrived is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman to support the maintenance and upkeep of our single-family rental properties in Hood River, Oregon. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our homes remain safe, functional, and comfortable for residents. From routine maintenance to on-the-spot repairs, your work will directly impact the quality of our properties and the satisfaction of our guests. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform a wide range of home repairs and general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: drywall patching, interior/exterior painting, door and window repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work, appliance installation and troubleshooting
• Prepare homes for new guests by completing turnover tasks such as rearranging, touch-ups, lock changes, fixture replacements, and other readiness checks
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely, professional manner
• Conduct regular inspections of homes to identify potential problems or needed preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with property managers and external vendors for more complex repairs or specialized work
• Keep detailed records of work completed, materials used, and time spent at each property
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards and complies with local codes and regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean, safe, and functional condition
• Provide excellent service and communication when interacting with residents or team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of hands-on handyman or general maintenance experience
• Proficiency in home repair tasks (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience with rental properties

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25-$30
