Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team, focusing on commercial and industrial insulation projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure competitive and comprehensive bids. Additionally, the Estimator will assist with project management tasks, including coordinating schedules, tracking project progress, and supporting field operations to ensure timely and successful project execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure competitive bids.
  • Assist with project management tasks such as coordinating schedules and tracking project progress.
  • Support field operations to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in estimating construction projects.
  • 1+ years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial construction estimating.
  • Knowledge in project management, construction management, RFI, change order, and project coordination.
  • Skills in material handling, equipment operation, and construction coordination.
  • Ability to manage schedules and budgets.
Work Environment

Work takes place both in the office and at construction sites throughout Michigan and the greater Mid-West region. Most jobs are within 75 miles of Grand Rapids, requiring regular travel to job sites and the office. The role involves towing and hauling materials from our office and vendors to the field team. A regular operator's license with an insurable driver record is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
