Site Engineer

Location: St. Peters, MO Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description: Job Title: Site Engineer Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for semiconductor plant facilities, including buildings (drawings, PLC, alarms), utility gas systems (e.g., N2, O2, H2, CDA), and plant piping. Lead projects for equipment, systems, and building installations with external contractors and internal resources. This includes developing preliminary budgeting and scheduling estimates. Inspect construction and installation progress for conformance to drawings, specifications, and site standards. Oversee external contractors for repair and maintenance activities in accordance with site standards. Ancillary Job Functions: Provide engineering support for Potable Water, Fire Water, Process Sewer, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Sewer systems. Provide engineering support for HVAC Systems (e.g., chillers, air handlers, boilers, ducts, valves, etc.). Coordinate with engineering firms in developing mechanical design criteria and review of costs. Required Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on experience with mechanical subsystems such as pumps, compressors, valves, various piping materials, etc. Working knowledge of Safety and Building codes. Knowledge of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PI&D). Knowledge and experience with PLC (programming, updating, installation). Minimum 5 years' experience working with plant facilities. Preferred Qualifications: CAD skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make improvements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Problem-solving skills. Supervision skills. Collaborative; encourages a participative process and works well within a team. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing system design ability. Project management skills. Work Environment: Work areas include office, electrical substations, maintenance shops, roofs, and other utility support areas.
