Assistant Superintendent

Your new company This company has been operating for over 100 years. They are a third-generation family-owned developer-builder working out of Long Island, New York. They have established themselves as one of the leaders in public sector construction as well as residential development in NYC. They are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join their team. Your new role As Assistant Superintendent, the primary function of your role is to support the Lead Superintendent in the planning, coordinating and leading the work activities of employees and subcontractors. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the role will also involve reviewing drawings and specifications, assisting with Safety and Quality programs, implementation of project-wide housekeeping procedures, assisting with the preparation of daily Superintendent reports and reviewing budgets and scopes with Project Managers and Superintendents. What you'll need to succeed They are ideally looking for an Assistant Superintendent who has 2-4 years' experience in ground-up projects. An NYC DOB license is preferred but not essential. Any previous experience in the public sector is a bonus, and you must be willing to travel across the 5 boroughs + Long Island.
