Press Brake Operator Job Description This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and skilled in metal fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating a press brake. Responsibilities Operate the press brake machine with precision and accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints effectively. Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers accurately. Handle materials efficiently within the machine operation. Perform custom fabrications and adapt to varying tasks. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in operating a press brake. Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings. Ability to pass a basic math test, including fractions and decimals. Competence in using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC, punch press, and shear operations. Familiarity with sheet metal and fabrication processes. Why Work Here? Opportunities for overtime are available, often starting at 6:30 AM and including 4-hour Saturday morning shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
