HVAC Technician

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an HVAC Tech for an HVAC installation/repair company located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area. Duties: - Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. - Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. - Diagnose and repair HVAC system components, including compressors, motors, and refrigerant lines. - Identify and resolve HVAC system malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment. - Test HVAC systems to verify proper operation and adherence to performance standards. - Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery. - Replace or repair defective parts as needed. - Complete service reports and documentation promptly. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Requirements: - Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a residential or commercial setting. - Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components. - Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type II or Universal) preferred. - Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. - Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops. - Weekend availabuility/on-call may be required.
