Industrial Painter

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for an Industrial Painter to join their Alachua location. This position is responsible for safely preparing and painting components to quality standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate will be attentive and follow safety rules, have close attention to detail, and be able to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Let's get to work.

Schedule: FT, M-F, 6:30AM - 3PM

Responsibilities:
- Perform component preparation
- Paint and detail components
- Properly maintain equipment and tools
- Follow procedure for handling primers, paint, components and corrosive-preventative chemicals
- Resolve assembly problems
- Prepare tools and equipment like sanders and paint sprayers
- Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive paint shop, spray booth, or industrial painting
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial occupation preferred
- Equivalent education and work experience may be considered
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic hand tools
