Tracked Products Engineering is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the Hydraulic Installation team. This position will support Hydraulic Mining Shovels (HMS) and Electric Rope Shovels (ERS). You will be responsible for addressing NPI, CPI and Manufacturing issues related to hydraulic system design and assembly. This includes component mounting and connections between pumps, valves, cylinders and coolers.

What you will do:
Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.
Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components.
Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.

Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Engineering Degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.

What skills you will have:

Technical Excellence: Experience in the design of Hydraulics, Engines, or Cooling systems . Experience with Hose/Tube design and routing is preferred. Candidates should have experience with fluid lines, connectors and fittings. Familiarity with HMS and ERS products is not required, but beneficial.
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Experience with Creo, Teamcenter, and product releasing .

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation..
Product Design - MFG: Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.
Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work full-time in the Tucson, AZ office.
Domestic relocation is available.
This position may require up to 5% travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
