What You’ll Do
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in extrusion, thermoforming, and automatic padding processes
- Diagnose and fix issues with PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC motor drives, process heating systems, feedback control circuits, and more
- Conduct preventive maintenance and basic calibration on production equipment
Technical Knowledge & Operations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Work with NEC codes where applicable
- Operate forklifts, yard equipment, and shop tools safely and effectively
Safety & Compliance
- Participate in safety inspections, observations, and JSA risk assessments
- Conduct food safety and defense inspections and report deficiencies
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical setting
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient with electrical multi-meters, megger insulation testers, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Completion of a trade school program or Associate’s degree in a related field
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) applications in a facility environment
- Experience with thermoforming, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus
