As a Solar Racking Tech or Installer, you'll play a crucial role in our solar installations, working with a team of skilled professionals to mount solar racking on roofs and assist as a materials handler for electrical work. Our projects include residential, commercial, and battery storage installations across the Portland Metro area.

• Assemble and stage materials for installations and service work
• Carry out all phases of rooftop solar installations
• Assist electricians with wiring and system connections
• Ensure jobsites and vehicles are clean, safe, and well-stocked
• Comply with local jurisdiction and utility installation requirements
• Operate within Neil Kellys safety standards and participate in regular trainings

Youre a dependable, safety-conscious individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Youre physically capable of rooftop work and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

• Installer: Solar installation experience Racking Tech: Residential construction/roofing experience.
• Comfortable with heights, ladder use, and working in outdoor conditions
• Ability to do physical work and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Familiarity with power and hand tools
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, insurance, and clean driving record
• Willingness to maintain First Aid/CPR and OSHA certifications (training available)
• Strong communication skills, customer service and client interaction skills

• Exposure to system grounding, PV schematics, and racking layouts
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience with residential construction and construction safety
