What Youll Do:

  • Preventive Maintenance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations (LOTO, fall protection, hot work, etc.).
  • Perform uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventive maintenance.
  • Dismantle and reassemble complex machinery efficiently.
  • Inspect machine parts using various measurement instruments.
  • Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies.
  • Train operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Verify machinery readiness before coordinating with manufacturing.

  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
  • Collaborate across departments through various communication methods.
  • Identify issues by observing mechanical devices and testing circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Implement improvements on equipment, documentation, and processes.
  • Utilize manuals and vendor communication for problem-solving.
  • Escalate technical issues to the lead or supervisor.

  • Fabrication:
  • Set up, operate, and disassemble manual and machine tools safely.
  • Turn, mill, drill, shape, weld, and grind machine parts to specification.
  • Operate various fabrication equipment to cut, form, and join materials.

    What You Need to Have:
  • Associate degree in an industrial machinery-related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an industrial plant setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Good time-management, computer, communication, and report-writing skills.
    The Musts:
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 preferred).
  • Willingness to work off shifts and rotating schedules.
    Preferred:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Additional certifications related to industrial machinery.
