QuantumScape is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to develop battery management systems, packs, and modules with QuantumScape battery cells. Have you been on a solar car team? Do you want to see electric vehicles become widespread and end the era of the internal combustion engine? If so, you'll be an excellent fit on our team!
You will collaborate with senior engineers at QuantumScape in the CTO's organization. You will rapidly prototype concepts to explore technical and economic feasibility. You will learn to use automotive standards and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and build prototypes of battery modules and systems
- Develop electronics and/or firmware for collecting data and implementing logic
- Present results to colleagues
- Other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or Master's degree in engineering or technical field
- Superb communication skills, both written and oral. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Desire to work in fast fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
Preferred:
- Experience prototyping power electronics, for example, in a solar car project
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation range for this role is $28-31 per hour, and a salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background.
