HVAC Tech & Installer

The HVAC Technician & Installer is responsible for installing,maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioningsystems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This roleensures that HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliablywhile providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and relatedequipment, in accordance with industry standards and manufacturerspecifications. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on existingHVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshootissues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, providingeffective solutions. Repair or replace defective components such ascompressors, fans, filters, and electrical parts. Conduct system testsand inspections to ensure compliance with safety and efficiencystandards. Maintain detailed service records, including work performedand materials used. Communicate clearly with clients regarding systemoperation, maintenance needs, and safety precautions. Adhere to safetyprotocols and code regulations during all installation and repairactivities. Qualifications: Proven experience as an HVAC technician orinstaller. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, refrigerants,and airflow principles. Valid HVAC technician certification/license asrequired by local regulations. Ability to read technical diagrams andmanuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to workoutdoors and in confined spaces, often under physical constraints. WorkEnvironment: This role involves physical activity in various settings,including indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather conditions andpotential hazards. A flexible schedule, including some potential foron-call or after-hours work, may be required.
