Wireman Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Technician to assemble electrical control panel boxes, perform startups, and troubleshoot systems. You will be involved in assembling control panel boxes used in water waste control systems, utilizing diagrams and blueprints to determine proper component placement and using general hand tools to install blocks, buttons, switches, and lights. You will mount components, read and wire control panels from schematics, and conduct testing and quality control of completed products. You will work with voltages including 480V 3PH, 230 3PH, and 120V 1PH, and handle Schneider contactors, overloads, circuit breakers, relays, and time delays. Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panel boxes. Perform startups and troubleshoot systems. Utilize diagrams and blueprints for component placement. Install blocks, buttons, switches, and lights using hand tools. Mount components effectively. Read and wire control panels from schematics. Test and ensure quality control of completed products. Work with various voltages and electrical components. Essential Skills Experience as a wireman or electrical assembler. Proficiency in control panel wiring and assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. At least 3 years of control panel wiring and electrical assembly experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical systems. Knowledge of low voltage and panel building. Why Work Here?
