Under the supervision of the manager, performs repair and new fabricationon and for Fire, Rescue and EMS Apparatus.Incumbent(s) may not berequired to perform all duties in this description and incumbent(s) maybe required to perform position-related tasks other than those specificallylisted in this description.We give a higher preference to welders with 2+ years of aluminum welding andwho are WABO certified or will commit to completing certification please seewww.WABO.org**Essential Job Functions:**- Keeps track of shop inventory and orders.- Ensures shop cleanliness and maintenance on a regular basis.- Processes and tracks repair orders.- Makes repairs and performs welding and fabrication on all vehicles and equipment, both in shop and on-site.- Monitors and instructs accordingly all safety-related issues as related to the shop area or any location where maintenance is being performed.- Available to perform emergency repair work after hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.**To be considered for this job, you MUST have:**2 Years Minimum Welding experience with focus on Aluminum[]{style="font-family:"}
