We are looking for a self-motivated Cable Technician (low voltage cabling) who can work independently and with a team to carry out cable installations.

Responsibilities:

Installation, relocation, troubleshooting of network & telephone cables/services on the customer premisesFollows company installation policies and safety protocolsProperly operate and maintain tools and equipment and organizes vehicle stock to perform required duties efficientlyPrepares and maintains time logs, reports and other related documentation in accordance with company and departmental policies

Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively and provide quality customer serviceAbility to use basic network installation tools and hand toolsExperience with Ethernet Category 5;6 and 6A; Fiber Optic: Multi mode, Single mode; Coax; RG6; Speaker; Camera; HDMIMust be able to lift 50 lbs., work at heights and in tight spaces/atticsComfortable working indoors and outdoorsValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings.Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional weekendsMust be age 21 or olderCompany DescriptionDelta Intellicom(Telephone and Cabling) is a reputable and long-standing business phones, computer networks, wireless solutions and cabling company, serving the Greater Washington area for almost three decades.
