CARETAKER/HANDYMAN - Part Time

un CARETAKER/HANDYMAN - Part Time (Chicago Mag Mile) image 1 of 1 compensation: Depending on Qualifications. $30-$55 per hour. SEEKING SKILLED HANDYMAN/PROPERTY CARETAKER to work in Mag Mile/Gold Coast area part time (schedule mutually determined), and occasionally on-call. Responsibilities involve ongoing property evaluation, maintance projects (light electrical, plumbing, construction, etc.), running errands, coordinating vendors when necessary, and general property troubleshooting. Individual hired will be a smart problem-solver with a great attitude and work ethic of accountability. Excellent handyman skills required, along with good communication. This is not a "task-oriented" position. Invidivual needs to be an organized self-starter, comfortable getting things done independently. The environment is a high-security private building with a casual but neat/professional dress code. References and a full background check are required. Hours to be mutually determined, generally during the 9-5, M-F work week. Competitive compensation with some benefits. Position can be either W-2 or independent contracting status.
