This critical position will work with a team of engineers andproduction personnel to resolve issues for our clients from commercial,business and military markets. Successful candidates will be able towork under limited supervision and possess multi-tasking andprioritization skills to meet deadlines. For consideration of this role,you must be able to pass a lab-based drug screen and occupational healthexam as per federally regulated aerospace and aviation guidelines. JobResponsibilities Perform quality work on conventional operated millingmachines, lathes, and surface grinding machines Use of Measuring andTest Equipment to ensure all dimensional requirements are met Select,align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments,accessories and materials on machines Work from and follow blueprints,diagrams, & written process instructions Inspect and document conditionof machinery Make minor repairs on machinery as needed Any other dutiesas required by the Company Required Skills / Knowledge Ability tointerpret Health, Safety and Environmental policies for compliance Goodwith computer software (MS Office, Word, Excel and internet navigation)Demonstrated ability to set up machine shop equipment (CNC machines,lathes, mills EDM, etc.) Machine shop theory, shop mathematics andlayout techniques Excellent oral and written communication (English) asper FAA regulations Use of dimensional measuring equipment Must be ableto machine and measure to close tolerances (.0002?) as required Readcomplex blueprint specifications, charts, and follow work orders andengineering instructions as necessary Comprehend and apply engineeringdrawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 Problem solve and troubleshootrepair/overhaul problems Experience 2 - 4 years\' experience in manualmachining on lathes Education Requirements College or vocational highschool education in machining and machining practices High SchoolDiploma or equivalent Certificate of completion of college or highschool machining courses.
