Crane Operator

Crane operator Pay: $18 Shift: 8 pm - 6:30 am Key responsibilities Verifies incoming material by comparing work orders to prescribed customer specifications. Sets up and verifies machine is adjusted to process material. Operates various machines including saw cutters, pointers, furnaces, draw benches and straightening machinery. Visually checks works and reads calibration equipment, gages, micrometers, measuring equipment and tools to verify quality of work produced. Documents all processed product in computer system. Loads and unloads materials utilizing overhead crane system. Makes simple machine adjustments and repairs. Operates industrial forklift and pallet jacks to load and move materials and products. Cleans work area, machines and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have manufacturing experience and pass basic industrial skills assessment test, basic mechanical reasoning test as well as micrometers & calipers. Equipment used Overhead crane, lifts, saws, computer, various plant machinery Operates various machines including saw cutters, pointers, furnaces, draw benches and straightening machinery.
