Architectural Designer

Position Summary:

The Architectural Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop creative design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, and ensure that projects align with the client's vision and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects and project managers to conceptualize, design, and develop architectural plans.

Develop final construction plans that include aesthetic representations of the structure or details for its construction.

Prepare and refine sketches, renderings, and 3D models using CAD software (3DsMax, VRay, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).

Work within the constraints of budget, timelines, and client requirements to ensure designs meet project goals.

Conduct site assessments and gather data to inform project design and development.

Consult with clients to determine functional or spatial requirements of structures; meet with clients to review or discuss architectural drawings.

Research and apply local building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards to ensure regulatory compliance.

Prepare construction documents and assist in the construction administration process as needed.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive project approach and design execution.

Continuously seek out new design trends, materials, and techniques to bring fresh ideas and solutions to the firm.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in architecture, architectural engineering or a related field, with at least two (2) years work experience in architectural design or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
