We're seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team and support the ongoing operation of our electrical systems and production equipment.

Job Summary: The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and experience working with automated machinery and industrial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems, motors, controls, and production equipment.
  
  
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and make necessary repairs or recommendations.
  
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  
  
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
  
  
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a food-grade or manufacturing environment.
  
  
• strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
  
  
• Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP) is a plus.
  
  
• At least one formal electrical certification is a big plus.

• Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP) is a plus.
  
  
• While a lack of certifications will not necessarily disqualify you, we are primarily looking for someone with at least one formal electrical certification.

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
