Project Design Engineer

Project Design Engineer trak group is partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company to hire a Project Design Engineer to lead mechanical design efforts for innovative, production-ready products. Why You'll Love This Role Join a manufacturing team where your ideas directly influence production and performance Work on both new product launches and continuous improvement of existing models Be part of a collaborative culture with strong cross-functional support Competitive salary, strong benefits, and opportunities for long-term growth What You'll Do Own mechanical design for electro-mechanical systems using SolidWorks Design components using injection molding, rotational molding, sheet metal, and other manufacturing methods Develop assemblies and subcomponents optimized for manufacturability, durability, and performance Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales throughout the product lifecycle Support BOM development, ECNs, simulation, and FMEA processes Contribute to project planning, root cause analysis, and production support What You Bring BSME or BSMET with 5+ years of mechanical product design experience (or equivalent practical expertise) Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical system design Deep understanding of component-level design, tolerancing, and system integration Experience with consumer products, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing is preferred Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for turning ideas into manufacturable products Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: Hamilton, OH (100% on-site) This position was created due to growth and increased production demand.
