Painters and blasters perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Ability to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all application methods and identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required.REQUIREMENTS:- The candidate must possess the abilities necessary to perform all aspects of the job, including but not limited to general lifting and carrying equipment and tools, bending, and climbing- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time- Work in various types of weather conditionsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Apply coatings through conventional and airless spray systems- Apply paint with brush and roll- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications- Knowledge of various blasts- Grinding, sanding, and polishing- Painting, caulking and sealing- Direct blast of abrasive-laden compressed air or water against metal or hard composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt to impart even finish- Apply masking materials to protect designated areas from abrasive finish- Apply epoxy, polyurethane, and high solids coatings- Operate a man lift, work at heights, and swing stage training- Must Wear respirator and other required PPEWORK ENVIRONMENT:- Environmental exposures are like those found in most heavy industrial settings*Hiring Process:*Apply via company website.In order to apply to this position, please click "How to apply for this job" located at the bottom of the job order page, and you will receive the employer contact information.
