Build New Hampshire.NHDOT Recruitment Brochure******************************************************The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Mechanical Services, has a full-time vacancy for a Welder Mechanic I.SUMMARY:Performs wide range of welding/mechanical fabrication/repair work on NHDOT fleet equipment in the Welding Shop, Bureau of Mechanical Services.YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Associate's degree from an accredited institute of higher education in a related mechanical trade.Experience: One year of experience as a welder. Each additional year of approved work experience as a welder may be substituted for one year of required formal education.OREducation: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential and completion of apprenticeship training (6,000 hours) as a welder.Experience: No experience.License/Certification: Must possess a valid driver's license.
