Fire Systems Project Designer

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Prior Fire System Design Experience Experience in using AutoCAD Prior construction/commercial building design experience NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience in access control drafting Experience in building automation drafting JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experience Project Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience specifically designing and drafting commercial fire alarm systems on an array of buildings and projects. Work from rough sketches, schematics, and verbal instructions. Utilizes and maintain internal project design, documentation and submittal standards. Ensures adherence to industry standards and codes as required. This position will require the ability to apply intermediate and advanced drafting techniques (utilizing AutoCAD) and knowledge of practical, electrical and fabrication problems.
