Your Contribution to Operational Excellence:

As a Design Engineer, you'll leverage your technical acumen to deliver critical solutions that directly influence our customers' bottom line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • 3D Modeling for high-wear applications, ensuring optimal material flow.
  • Executing 3D DEM simulations to predict wear patterns, optimize liner profiles, and validate design performance.
  • Precision reverse engineering of existing components to identify enhancement opportunities and integrate seamlessly with current operations.
  • Producing detailed 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and installation specifications.
  • Collaborating intensely with our Product Development and Sales Engineering teams to translate complex customer challenges into viable, high-performance solutions.
  • Articulating the ROI and operational benefits of your designs to both internal stakeholders and key customers, driving adoption and long-term partnerships.

Technical Acumen/Criteria Required:

We're seeking a candidate with a robust technical foundation, demonstrated by:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. (Candidates with an exceptional Mechanical Engineering Diploma and extensive relevant experience).
  • Demonstrable expertise in Ansys FEA and DEM software.
  • High proficiency in CAD software (Unigraphics NX), encompassing advanced 3D parametric modeling and precision 2D drafting.
  • Proven track record in developing innovative products specifically tailored to meet critical customer operational needs and performance metrics.

Valuable Assets (Not Disqualifying):

  • Knowledge of mineral processing circuits, material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors, chutes), and related operational processes.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM.
