THE WORK:
- You'll support and contribute to the development of Conceptual, Phase 1, 2, and 3 projects cost estimates in a standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) format with all required assumptions that support development of current and LRP budgets.
- You'll prepare standard WBS estimates and assumptions with documentation of confidence factors ranging from study to construction phases of project.
- You'll prepare side by side analysis of estimates upon request to provide lessons learned and to generate parametric values.
- You'll support, contribute, and implement the standardization of estimating standards required to develop better processes with the Project team.
- You'll apply applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the electric, distribution, transmission, and substation areas for all cost estimates.
- You'll have a strong understanding of design drawings and detailed engineering and construction prints.
- You'll calculate job requirements from design documents, including quantities, resource hours, duration, limitations, etc.
- You'll conduct modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and other estimate-related financial and implementation analysis.
- You'll track, maintain, analyze and provide current estimating information on scorecard or key performance indicators.
- You'll prepare, update, and maintain standard material and labor unit costs to support estimate creation and database updates.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center
With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
$140,000 - $150,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Qualification
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in transmission, substation, and distribution electrical estimating
- Valid driver's license and driving record
- Experience with WinEst estimating software or other computerized bidding software
- Fluent with Microsoft office
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Ability to read / interpret detailed prints and specifications for conceptual, lump sum or unit pricing.
- Ability to perform take-offs, compare unit pricing
- Ability to work in a team environment, good listening, and communications skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
