Construction Estimator - NYC General Contractor

Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to review blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize Procore, Plan SWIFT, and Building Connected for estimation and project management.
- Support interior renovation projects in hospitality, retail, and restaurant sectors.
- Assist general contractors with healthcare construction and ground-up developments.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator with a General Contractor.
- Expertise in interior renovations for hospitality, retail, or restaurant projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Procore, Plan SWIFT, and Building Connected.
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare construction experience is a plus.
- Ground-up construction experience is a plus.
Work Environment
- Full-time, in-office role (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM).
- Company-provided equipment and software.

- Projects span NYC, Long Island, and select areas of upstate New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
Your work schedule will be full time in the office and (1) optional Friday remotely every other week. (This is being revisited this year) If you are required to attend in person on a 'remote day', we trust you will be available as needed and would reschedule time away accordingly.
Your offer will include (2) weeks of vacation, (3) personal days, (5) sick days, (1) mental health day and (1) floating summer day. You are invited to enroll in our Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision program which is a 70%/ 30% shared cost between Vanguard and you. Health Benefits will be effective the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
You are invited to participate in our 401K plan with an automatic enrollment of a 3% (minimum) contribution and a 20% match by Vanguard capped at $2,000.00 per year. You will be reimbursed for petty cash and work-related travel. We will provide your company laptop and cell phone. It is understood that the first 90 days of employment constitutes a probationary period. The Employee will not be eligible for paid time off until after 60 days. Vanguard also exercises the right to terminate employment at any time without advance notice within this period.
Yearly bonuses for all staff are distributed by February 1st for the prior calendar year ending on December 31st. Such bonuses are calculated as a determination of corporate profitability and individual performance.
Summer Friday's between Memorial Day and Labor Day, office closes at 3pm.
