Job DescriptionDemonstrate leadership by adhering to all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures, including the Code of Business Conduct.Foster a positive and respectful work environment that reflects the organizations core values.Design layouts for the installation of new processes or machinery, as well as modifications to existing systems.Prepare and review blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and detailed equipment specifications.Collaborate with Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure continuous plant operations.Develop cost estimates and prepare funding requests for capital improvement projects.Create designs that prioritize safety, maintainability, reliability, and compliance with environmental and legal standards.Plan and oversee the installation of new plant projects, coordinating process downtime, equipment deliveries, maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.Provide engineering expertise across the plant to address production challenges, develop new techniques, and evaluate existing equipment and procedures.Apply lean manufacturing principles, including 6S Lean, to support process improvement initiatives.Assist in training non-maintenance personnel on preventative maintenance practices.Utilize the scheduled maintenance work order system and contribute to planning mechanical support during outages.Manage external contractors and vendors throughout the project lifecyclefrom initial concept through to project completion.
