Foreman Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Foreman Manager to oversee the scheduling and coordination of foremen, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of construction projects. The role involves performing quality control duties, ensuring compliance with contracted scopes of work, and maintaining a clean and organized job site. Responsibilities Schedule foremen, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion of construction projects. Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. Ensure foremen report to the superintendent and comply with contracted scopes of work, correcting deficiencies identified by the project team. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Identify foreman non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards and issue notices of non-compliance regarding quality of work or scheduling. Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution. Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite. Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously. Schedule and preside over weekly foreman meetings to coordinate work and participate in project hand-off meetings. Ensure the job site is always kept clean and organized. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion. Evaluate specifications for plan procedures, start and completion dates, and staffing requirements for each phase of the construction project. Hire, direct, and motivate foremen, personnel, and staff engaged in planning and executing work procedures. Interpret specifications and company policies to subordinates and contractors, enforcing safety regulations. Analyze and resolve work problems, including worker complaints and grievances. Inspect projects under construction regularly to ensure conformity to specifications, budget, and schedule, initiating repairs or adjustments as needed. Communicate regularly with the project team regarding project status. Assist the project manager in preparing and performing turnover procedures. Ensure time sheets are turned in weekly with accurate reporting of job cost coding and equipment hour usage. Direct a weekly look ahead where foremen prepare projected labor, equipment, and material requirements with contingency plans. Manage the securing of equipment and material for foremen. Ensure daily manpower productions are accurately recorded each day and submitted to the office to determine if production meets the estimated burn rate.
