The Entry Level Operator works cross-functionally and is a part of the Pay-For-Skills program. The Pay-For-Skills program builds on the Entry Level Operator with pay increasing after each of the four jobs is learned which means ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. Starting wage would be $18.50/hour and then jump up to $21.36/hour after you have successfully completed your probationary period. Your Day-to-Day: Monitor production during run Able to communicate over the radio Cutting feet material, sampling product, move materials by hand, operate a forklift, empty trash carts, conduct clean-up activities Complete preventative maintenance work tasks, assist with start-ups Monitor production line and begin to learn other key positions (i.e. Level 2-4).
