What Youll Do

  • Create grading plans, site layouts, and utility designs for a variety of projects, ensuring functionality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Design innovative stormwater systems, including detention/retention basins, low-impact development, and green infrastructure solutions.
  • Engineer water, sanitary sewer, and storm systems in strict accordance with local codes and utility standards.
  • Deliver detailed and accurate designs, calculations, cost estimates, reports, permit applications, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Keep meticulous records of project details, including progress reports and budget information for transparency and reference.
  • Work closely with reviewers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of project deliverables.
  • Implement rigorous QA/QC procedures at every stage of the design process to ensure excellence.
  • Collaborate directly with clients and regulatory agencies to prepare and secure approvals for permit applications and project plans.
  • Monitor construction projects to track progress and ensure alignment with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Evaluate sites to confirm adherence to design intent and identify any necessary adjustments.
  • Partner with consultants, team members, and clients to drive project success and meet objectives.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed to ensure compliance and the overall success of land development projects.

Salary Range $83,000-$98,000

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Requirements

What You Bring, Your Expertise

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MS preferred).
  • 5-15 years minimum engineering experience in the Land Development sector with knowledge of multiple aspects of civil engineering and site design
  • Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
  • EIT required
  • Professional Engineering license (PE) or ability to obtain it.
