This Opportunity:

  • Manage water resources projects, coordinating with project teams, and contributing to the development and delivery of comprehensive water resources projects.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive water resources projects.
  • Work with our talented water resources staff to successfully deliver a wide variety of projects such as ecosystem restoration, flood risk management, and dam safety.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while mentoring and growing staff.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
  • 7+ years of previous experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction.
  • Previous experience with storm drain system analysis using CAD software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, InRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
  • Interest and experience in mentoring civil and other engineering staff, and/or serving in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction
  • Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
  • Experience supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
