Minimum of 5 years professional experience: painting (base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats), blending adjacent panels, and paint correcting vehicles.

Candidate needs experience in the following:

AUTOBODY PAINTER ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Expected to be able to perform tasks such as:
-Paint matching / Color Tint
-Mixes and applies filler, primer, paint and clear to vehicles using spray equipment and hand tools
-Ability to air brush small repairs
-Blending spot and panel repairs
-Masking
-Use of kickers/ drying agents/ curing times- dependent upon weather and timing of delivery
-Conservative use of materials
-Execute precise painting tasks, including color matching, surface preparation, and application of finishes to achieve a flawless appearance
-Ensure paint area (prep station, paint booth, etc.) are clean/ organized and all refinish products are stored as directed in cabinets, including changing of the booth filters
-Updating shop foreman about supplies and needs/Assist Facility Team leader with setting repair priorities
-Must be neat and organized, and have the ability to perform in a fast paced work environment
