Civil Engineer
Job Description

This role involves working on the Site Engineering team, independently engineering and designing site development projects in collaboration with Professional Engineers and CAD Designers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site feasibility studies.
  • Perform site and environmental analysis.
  • Develop schematic designs.
  • Coordinate engineering systems.
  • Analyze site costs.
  • Develop site design.
  • Prepare site construction documents.
  • Research specifications and materials.
  • Check and coordinate documents.
  • Participate in bidding and contract negotiation.
  • Perform office work during the construction phase.
  • Observe site during the construction phase.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Civil Engineering Intern - EI certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in Site Design.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Expertise in civil design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently on site projects.
  • Experience in taking projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction.
Work Environment

The Civil Team consists of 7 members, with standard work hours from Monday to Thursday for 9 hours and Friday for 4 hours, totaling 40 hours per week. Hours can be flexible, starting between 7-9 AM and leaving between 4-6 PM. While the position is not remote or hybrid, there is flexibility to work from home when necessary. The work environment includes a new and appealing office with amenities such as walking trails and a gym, fostering a culture of excellent teamwork and opportunities for team building.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
