Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and supervise the construction of mechanical aspects of pilot plants for the chemical/petrochemical industry.
Job Requirements:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Codeware software, MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills:
PE license
Knowledge of ASME Sec 8 Div 1 (pressure vessels) and PED codes
Experience with stress analysis, FEA, stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, and controls
Job Responsibilities:
Design/supervise construction of mechanical components for pilot plants
Oversee design/drafter activities
Support equipment assembly, start-up, installation, validation, and field service as needed
Interact with clients/customers/vendors/suppliers/fabricators
Perform intermittent domestic and international travel for job duties including commissioning equipment on customer sites
