Moore Bass Consulting is a growing, well-established civil engineering firm providing consulting services throughout the southeast. Some of our many services include Civil; Environmental; Land Surveying; Land Planning; Landscape Architecture; and Construction Administration.
Moore Bass Consulting has an opening for an experienced Professional Civil Engineer Project Manager with civil site development and Civil 3D CAD experience for our McDonough, GA office. The position requires a strong understanding of land and site civil engineering design with previous experience managing water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure design projects. This role requires regular interaction with our CAD Drafters, technicians and clients. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Design experience, project management experience, and mastery of Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software required.
Typical Duties:
Engineering design and CAD production for one or multiple projects for multiple clients.
Engineering design for Civil projects as required.
Project management including scheduling, personnel management, client coordination, permit coordination, and interaction with various governmental agencies.
Visit job sites and consultant offices as needed to support the project and business development needs.
Work within project scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects.
Managing other engineering and CAD technicians' work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas.
Supervision of technical and administrative staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BS degree in Civil Engineering
Registrations: Current valid PE (Georgia Registration)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
5+ years of design experience in support of public and private projects
Experience with civil engineering projects including preparation of construction plans
Experience with regulatory approval processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hyrdoflow, ICPR
Strong leadership qualities
