Summary: Seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer specialized in naval facilities design and consultation, providing independent and professional civil engineering support for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported Commands.

Requirements:

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of professional civil engineering code compliant facilities design experience for new construction, including renovation design.

BS/MS degree in CE from an Accreditation Board for Engineers and Technology (ABET) accredited university.

Considerable hands-on CE facilities design experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide civil engineering support, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities.

Participate in conferences with project stakeholders and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system coordination.

Support various civil engineering projects/services including site developments, roads, airfields, water supply, sewer systems etc.

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of DOD and Navy guide specifications, criteria and policy.

Skill in using software/systems like Whole Building Design Guide (WBGD), AutoCAD etc.

Ability to produce results of analysis in writing and make oral presentations of proposed designs.

Full compliance with Safety Policy and Guidance.
